The Sørdalskarusellen is a series of ten recreational races from April to September in Lillehammer and the surrounding area. The races are organized as a mass start on Wednesdays and virtually from Saturday to Tuesday beforehand, and participants can choose to run the mass start or virtually for each race. To qualify for a participant prize, one must complete at least six races. Class winners and overall winners are determined based on a points system, as well as special awards such as "trimmer of the year" and "best overall time."
