In 2021, the adventure of Sandnes Ultratrail began, offering distances of 100 miles, 50 miles, 43 km, 23 km, 10 km, and children's races. The trails traverse beautiful and varied nature, from mountains with stunning fjord views to peaceful forest paths, and include opportunities for swimming in several lovely lakes. On the longest distance, participants climb no less than 28 peaks and summits, and all routes are technically challenging, adding an extra dimension to the experience. Runners are greeted by experienced volunteers at aid stations, and at the finish line, delicious hamburgers, both meat and vegan, are served from the grill.
