The Risør Run 2023 takes place on Saturday, August 12, featuring 5 and 10 kilometer distances, as well as a free children's race. The start and finish are on Måkeveien in Risør, where the 10 km course takes participants through the beautiful hiking terrain of Åmlandskauen, while the 5 km course follows gravel roads towards Tronndalen. Both routes have a challenging ascent towards the end, and timing is carried out using RFID technology.
