The October Mile is held every year in mid to late October, and in 2025, the race will take place on Sunday, October 19, starting at 12:00 PM. Distribution of race numbers begins at 11:00 AM at Lerstad School, with the start and finish located near Lerstad Primary School. The race features distances of 5 km and 10 km, running along Lerstadvatnet and Lerstadvegen, with a flat course except for an uphill stretch of about 300 meters. Participants receive a medal upon completion, and there are prizes for the best in each distance.
Highlights
- The race takes place on a gravel road along Lerstadvatnet and on the sidewalk for the rest of the course.
- Everyone who completes one of the distances will receive a medal.
- The winners of the 5 km receive a trophy, and the top three in each gender category for the 10 km also receive a trophy.
