The Numedalsløpet was first held in 1936 and is thus one of the oldest sports events in Numedal. The race takes place on easy forest terrain from Høgheim in Lyngdal to Flesberg Community House and is approximately 13 km long. It is a race for both competitive runners and recreational joggers, organized in collaboration with Lyngdal and Svene Sports Clubs.
