This year's Namdalskarusell follows a similar format as in 2024, with two participant classes: participation with timing and without timing. The first race, Namdalskarusellen Race 1, takes place on April 22, 2025, and is a trail run of 5.6 km (5600 meters) on Otterøya. The race starts at Coop, follows a lit path and a gravel road back to the main road, before concluding at the starting point. The youth participate in a mass start, while others can join virtually later in the week.
