Race description

Checkpoint Melshei is a low-threshold trail run that stands out because there is no fixed route. Participants must visit three checkpoints in Melsheia, but they choose their own path between them. You can opt to run on fast surfaces like gravel or asphalt, but that means a longer distance, or you can aim for a shorter route with rougher terrain off the trails. The race is held simultaneously with Hardhausens, creating a great atmosphere and a "full house" at the SI cabin on this day, complete with a kiosk, announcer, changing rooms, and lots of people.

Highlights

  • What makes the race special is that there is no fixed course you have to follow.
  • Participants must pass through three locations in Melsheia, which are called checkpoints.
  • The race is held simultaneously with Hardhausen, so there will be a great atmosphere and a "full house" at the SI cabin on this day!
