Ålgård-Sirdal 100K is a challenging course of 100 kilometers that takes participants from Ålgård to Sirdal. The route is varied, featuring both mountains and roads, and the last aid station is at Lortabu (86 km). After this, the course follows the road to Gravassryggen, before ascending the steep trail to Storeknut. Towards the end of the race, participants will experience a fantastic view over Sirdal from the finish line at Slottet.

Highlights

  • The last aid station is at Lortabu (86 km), where the route then follows the road to Gravassryggen.
  • After 90 km, the participants will understand why the trail gets its name from the 1800s, when shepherds had to herd their sheep from the coast to the mountain pastures in Sirdal.
  • About 1 km before the finish, there is a steep gravel path leading to the finish at the Castle, where you get a fantastic view of the entire Sirdal.
